Server: ¿Algo más?Anything else?
Learner: No entiendo. ¿Puede repetir, por favor?I do not understand. Can you repeat, please?
Server: ¿Algo más?Anything else?
Learner: No, gracias.No, thank you.

Before, during and after the exchange.

The checklist on page 2 of the card:

  • Choose one useful question or request.
  • Keep a rescue phrase where you can see it.

03 · How to use the planner

A flexible ten-minute routine.

2 minutes

Read your two phrases, check their meaning and say them aloud.

3 minutes

Cover the Spanish, recall it, check and try the difficult phrase again.

3 minutes

Use the phrases in a short role play; practise both roles.

2 minutes

Record the attempt and choose a phrase to revisit on another day.

Ten minutes is a planning aid, not a promise about learning speed. If ten minutes does not fit, use a shorter slot and one phrase. Missed a day? Continue at your next available practice time.

Worked example: prepare a café exchange.

Goal: ask for coffee and request repetition if a reply is unclear.

Phrase 1: Un café, por favor.A coffee, please.
Phrase 2: ¿Puede repetir, por favor? Can you repeat, please?

Practice slot: ten minutes after breakfast.

Review dayPlanned task and note
Day 1Read and practise the two phrases. Note which one needs another attempt.
Day 3Cover both phrases, recall them and check the café dialogue.
Day 6Repeat both roles; record whether you needed the example or a small prompt.

An illustrative practice plan, not a learner’s result.
