Affiliate Disclosure

Smart Learning Path (thesmartlearningpath.com) publishes free Spanish practice for English-speaking adult beginners. This page explains how the site is paid for, so you can judge our recommendations with that in mind.

How the site is funded today.

The site is funded by its own paid products: the phrase packs and the course listed on the pricing page. When we mention them, we say plainly that they are ours. Everything else on the site, including the lessons, the scenarios, the phrase deck and the practice tools, is free.

Today there are no affiliate links on this site. When a guide or comparison names an app, a course or a tutoring service, we earn nothing if you sign up, and no company has paid for a mention or a placement.

If that changes.

We may join affiliate programs for Spanish-learning products in future. An affiliate link pays us a commission if you buy through it, at no extra cost to you. Before the first such link goes live, we will:

• list each program on this page, with the date we joined it;
• label every affiliate link on the page where it appears, near the link itself rather than only in a footer;
• update any page that currently says the site has no affiliate relationships.

A commission will not decide what we recommend. Our comparisons start from the practice task a learner is trying to do, and a product without an affiliate program can still be the one we suggest.

Questions.

If something on a page looks like an undisclosed recommendation, tell us through the contact page and we will check it and correct the page. How lessons and comparisons are written and checked is described in our editorial policy.
